Dr Nomusa Annie Muhlwa DBA MBA RGN BSc (Hons)

I am a healthcare leader, entrepreneur and advocate for transformation in social care. My journey began from caring and nursing, where I learned the true meaning of compassion, service and leadership under pressure. Today, I use that foundation to build care organisations, workforce solutions and leadership systems that drive quality and dignity for those who depend on care.

 

Earlier in my leadership journey, I transformed a 79-bed care home from “Requires Improvement” to “Good” through a relentless focus on clinical governance, culture change and people development.

 

I hold a DBA and MBA in Hospital and Health Services Management and was honoured with the Sir Ian Dixon Prize for academic excellence and contribution to healthcare leadership my Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), specialised in Human Resource Management and Workforce Innovation in Healthcare.

 

Beyond healthcare operations, I am the founder of Sensinom Ltd, where I support entrepreneurs and care providers with growth strategy, turnaround leadership, operational compliance and business development. I also supported mum in building the 1st midwife led hospital in Zimbabwe called Prospect Palms Private Maternity Hospital.

 

I am a multi-business owner with growing investments in property development, healthcare projects and UK/Africa business collaborations. I believe in building sustainable businesses that create opportunity and long-term impact.

 

But my story is not one without struggle...

 

Earlier in life I faced a deeply painful immigration challenge that almost destroyed everything I had stood for and worked for. My career was disrupted and I faced overwhelming adversity. But I refused to be defined by a moment in my story. I decided - I would rise again and rebuild my life with integrity, purpose and courage. I rebuilt from the ground up to be the purpose led entrepreneur I am today. Resilience is my foundation and Purpose is my driver.

 

I am also founder of Mother to the Motherless, a life mission close to my heart, created to support children and young people who face loss or abandonment. I know what it means to feel like the odds are against you - and I know what it means to win anyway with the guidance and trust of those that believe in you.

 

I am a proud mother of daughters who inspire everything I do. My Mission is to build high-quality, ethical and empowering businesses that transform lives and create opportunity.
